CS01102 - McCords Officer | The Collectors Showcase
The McCords figures represent a Confederate formation in the American Civil War through a series of complementary battlefield poses. Together, the officer, standard-bearer, drummer and fighting infantrymen show how command, communication and front-line action could be represented in one coherent display.
The McCords Officer supplies a command presence for the series and gives the fighting soldiers a central figure around whom to gather. Officers were a visible element of a regimental formation, especially where quick decisions and coordinated movement mattered. This miniature pairs naturally with the drummer and flagbearer, while the firing and charging infantrymen provide the action beyond the command group.
This 54mm figure is designed to sit naturally with the other McCords releases, giving collectors the chance to combine command, ceremonial and combat roles into a unified Confederate infantry scene.
