AE035 – Hand Maiden to Priest

The great temples of Ancient Egypt were much more than places of worship. They were centres of wealth, ceremony and administration, maintained by priests and the many attendants and servants who supported temple life.

AE035 – Hand Maiden to Priest of Ra portrays a female attendant associated with the priesthood of Ra, the Egyptian sun god. Designed to complement King & Country’s High Priest of Ra and other temple figures, she adds another layer of detail to a religious or ceremonial Egyptian scene. The figure was later retired from the King & Country range.

An excellent addition to a temple display alongside priests, dancers, guards and members of the royal court.
