HITT-10AN – 3 Hittite Spearmen adds another substantial group of infantry to the forces of Muwatalli II at the Battle of Kadesh.

The Hittite king could draw upon troops from the empire itself as well as allied and subject territories, producing an army representing a wide region of the ancient Near East.

While the heavy Hittite chariot remains one of the most spectacular features of the period, infantry were needed to hold ground, support the chariot arm and provide depth to the army.

Combining the A and B versions allows collectors to create a sizeable formation without excessive repetition among the individual warriors.
