JR-28B – Lowland Infantry represents one of the Scots who supported the Stuart cause without belonging to the Highland clan regiments most closely associated with the 1745 Rising.

Lowland troops formed an important element within the Jacobite army and could be trained according to contemporary infantry methods influenced by wider European practice.

As an individual figure, JR-28B is particularly useful for adding another pose among a growing formation. Combine it with JR-28A and the larger three-man sets to build the numbers necessary for a convincing Lowland contingent.
