RTA161 – “Fighting Backwoodsman”
By the closing stages of the Battle of the Alamo, the defenders had little room left to retreat. Once Mexican troops breached the perimeter, fighting spread through the compound and the battle became increasingly desperate.
King & Country’s RTA161 “Fighting Backwoodsman” represents the rugged frontier character so closely associated with the Alamo story. These were men accustomed to hardship, firearms and life far from established settlements, and many brought valuable practical fighting and survival skills with them.
