ATW009B – “Shush” – 101st Airborne

The airborne landings in Normandy scattered many paratroopers far from their intended drop zones. Small groups moved cautiously through darkness, attempting to locate comrades while avoiding German positions.

ATW009B – “Shush” represents a 101st Airborne soldier signalling for silence.

It is a simple gesture with enormous storytelling potential – perhaps he has heard movement ahead, spotted an enemy sentry or is quietly leading his men towards an objective.

Available from The Military Workshop – a characterful Thomas Gunn 101st Airborne paratrooper ideal for creating tense patrol, reconnaissance and ambush scenes.
