FJ043 – Kurt Student, General of Paratroops

Few officers were more closely associated with the development of Germany's airborne forces than Kurt Student.

A First World War aviator, Student became a central figure in building the Fallschirmjäger arm before WWII. German airborne forces under his wider command were involved in major operations including the invasions of the Low Countries and the costly airborne assault on Crete in 1941.

FJ043 portrays Student as the senior commander associated with Germany's paratroop forces and makes a natural headquarters figure for a substantial Fallschirmjäger collection.

Available through The Military Workshop – a Thomas Gunn portrayal of General Kurt Student, a central historical figure in the development and wartime employment of German airborne forces.
