GC012B – Rommel Wearing His Gas Mask

Gas warfare had left a terrible legacy from the First World War, and although chemical weapons were not widely employed on European battlefields during WWII, soldiers continued to carry protective equipment.

GC012B depicts Erwin Rommel wearing his gas mask, creating a highly unusual portrayal of the German commander.

It is precisely the kind of variation that can make a personality collection more interesting, presenting a famous historical figure in equipment rarely represented in miniature.

Available from The Military Workshop – a distinctive Thomas Gunn Rommel figure whose gas-mask configuration makes it an unusual addition to a WWII command collection.
