GW032A – Fallen German Officer with Helmet

The distinctive uniform of an officer could signify authority, but on the battlefield officers remained vulnerable to exactly the same artillery, rifle and machine-gun fire as the soldiers they commanded.

GW032A portrays a fallen German officer, accompanied by his helmet.

The separate visual element of the helmet adds detail to the scene and makes the figure particularly effective amid the disturbed ground of a trench or shell-blasted battlefield.

Available from The Military Workshop – a sombre Thomas Gunn German officer casualty figure for a realistic First World War display.
