GW038B – French Marine with Grenade

French naval infantry – traditionally known as Fusiliers Marins – fought on land during the First World War as well as fulfilling their naval duties.

GW038B – French Marine is armed with a grenade, capturing the soldier at the point where fighting is moving into close range.

He makes an interesting alternative to conventional French Army infantry and can be combined with other Marine figures to build a distinctive French formation.

Available through The Military Workshop – a dynamic Thomas Gunn French Marine bringing close-quarter action and a different branch of French service to your Great War collection.
