GW042A – Chauchat Machine Gunner

The Chauchat became one of the most recognisable French automatic weapons of the First World War. Officially designated the Fusil-Mitrailleur Mle 1915 CSRG, it was produced in enormous numbers and gave infantry a portable source of automatic fire.

Although its reputation has often been debated, the weapon saw extensive service with French troops and was also used by other Allied forces.

GW042A – Chauchat Machine Gunner brings this unmistakable weapon to the miniature battlefield, providing a valuable specialist gunner for a French infantry section.

Available from The Military Workshop – a distinctive Thomas Gunn Chauchat Gunner representing one of the best-known French infantry weapons of the Great War.
