GW046A – Standing Ready Soldier with Gas Mask

Gas could drift across the battlefield with little warning, forcing soldiers to keep their protective equipment close and be prepared to use it rapidly.

GW046A – Standing Ready Soldier with Gas Mask captures that sense of preparedness. Rather than actively firing, the soldier appears ready for whatever develops next.

This transitional pose is particularly useful between troops already fighting and those moving forward, while the gas mask immediately establishes the threatening atmosphere of the Western Front.

Available from The Military Workshop – an atmospheric Thomas Gunn Great War figure standing prepared amid the ever-present dangers of trench warfare.
