GW049B – British Rifleman Lying Firing with Sledge – Winter

Winter could transform the Western Front into an even more difficult environment. Snow and freezing temperatures were added to the familiar problems of mud, shell damage and enemy fire.

GW049B depicts a British rifleman lying down and firing, accompanied by a sledge and presented specifically for a winter setting.

The combination provides far more storytelling potential than a rifleman alone. The sledge can suggest the movement of supplies or equipment through conditions where wheeled transport might struggle.

Available through The Military Workshop – an unusual Thomas Gunn winter set combining an active British rifleman with a useful piece of cold-weather battlefield equipment.
