GW053A – French Poilu with Reluctant Mule

Sometimes the most memorable miniature scenes are the ones that have absolutely nothing to do with firing a weapon.

GW053A – French Poilu with Reluctant Mule captures a wonderfully familiar military problem: the soldier may know where he wants to go, but the mule has apparently formed an entirely different opinion.

Mules performed valuable work carrying supplies and equipment through terrain where motor vehicles could not always operate, but their legendary stubbornness also provided generations of soldiers with plenty of frustration.

Available through The Military Workshop – a wonderfully humorous Thomas Gunn Great War set bringing both the logistical importance and stubborn personality of the military mule to life.
