GW063 – Turkish Rifleman

The Ottoman Empire entered the First World War in late 1914 and fought across an enormous geographical area, from Gallipoli and the Caucasus to Mesopotamia, Palestine and Arabia.

GW063 – Turkish Rifleman represents the ordinary Ottoman infantryman whose service formed the backbone of these campaigns.

For Australian collectors, Ottoman figures are particularly relevant when creating Gallipoli displays, where Australian and New Zealand troops faced determined Ottoman defenders throughout the 1915 campaign.

Available through The Military Workshop – a characterful Thomas Gunn Turkish Rifleman representing the Ottoman soldier of the Great War.
