GW073A – The Red Baron – Manfred von Richthofen

No fighter pilot of the First World War became more famous than Manfred von Richthofen – the legendary “Red Baron.”

Credited with 80 aerial victories, Richthofen became the highest-scoring fighter ace of the war. His association with brightly painted red aircraft made him instantly recognisable and helped create a legend that has endured for more than a century.

He was killed in action on 21 April 1918 near the Somme while flying his famous Fokker Dr.I triplane.

GW073A – The Red Baron brings this iconic aviation personality into miniature form.

Available from The Military Workshop – a Thomas Gunn portrayal of Manfred von Richthofen, one of the most famous fighter pilots in aviation history.
