GW076 – German on Parade with Pickelhaube & Backpack
Before the steel helmet became one of the defining images of the German soldier in WWI, the Pickelhaube was the traditional and instantly recognisable headgear of the Imperial German Army.
GW076 presents a German soldier on parade, wearing his Pickelhaube and carrying his backpack.
The formal pose allows the uniform and equipment to be appreciated clearly and provides an excellent contrast to the mud-covered Stormtroopers and trench fighters elsewhere in the range.
Available from The Military Workshop – a classic Thomas Gunn Imperial German soldier displaying the distinctive military appearance of the early Great War period.
