GW090B – Charging Uhlan

The Uhlans were Germany's famous lance-armed cavalrymen, instantly recognisable by their distinctive uniforms and association with the traditional cavalry lance.

Although machine guns, artillery and trenches rapidly reduced the opportunities for classic mounted charges on the Western Front, cavalry continued to serve in reconnaissance and other roles throughout the war.

GW090B – Charging Uhlan captures the mounted soldier at his most dramatic, horse and rider committed to the attack.

Available through The Military Workshop – a spectacular Thomas Gunn German Uhlan bringing the speed and drama of mounted warfare to your Great War collection.
