GW100C/B – Australian Soldiers with Bush Hats on Parade – 26th Battalion – Four Figures
Raised in 1915, the 26th Battalion AIF drew much of its original manpower from Queensland and Tasmania. The battalion served at Gallipoli before moving to the Western Front, where it fought in major actions including Pozières and later battles of the war.
GW100C/B represents four men of the 26th Battalion on parade in their distinctive bush hats.
For Queensland collectors in particular, the battalion connection gives this set additional historical interest.
Available through The Military Workshop – a superb Thomas Gunn four-figure 26th Battalion parade set representing Queensland and Tasmanian soldiers of the AIF.
