Formed in 1915, the 19th Battalion AIF served at Gallipoli before being transferred to France and Belgium, where it participated in some of the Australian Imperial Force's most difficult fighting.

GW102A portrays four 19th Battalion infantrymen marching together, capturing the familiar sight of Australian troops moving along the roads behind the Western Front.
