HF001 – Lady Sitting on Suitcase

War is not experienced only by soldiers.

HF001 – Lady Sitting on Suitcase portrays a civilian woman waiting with her luggage, immediately suggesting displacement, evacuation or the uncertainty of leaving home.

Her seated position works naturally at a railway station, roadside, refugee collection point or beside other civilians waiting for transport. The suitcase tells much of the story without requiring an elaborate setting.

Available from The Military Workshop – a poignant Thomas Gunn civilian figure ideal for adding the human story of evacuation and displacement to a wartime diorama.
