ROM102A - Advancing Praetorian Guardsman with Pilum Lowered & Painted Shield

The Praetorian Guard represented the elite of Rome’s military forces, combining exceptional training with a close connection to imperial authority. These soldiers were among the most recognisable figures in ancient Rome, often serving in highly visible roles within the capital and during military campaigns.

ROM102A - Advancing Praetorian Guardsman with Pilum Lowered & Painted Shield portrays an imperial guard moving forward with his pilum prepared for combat. His decorated shield, detailed armour, and purposeful stance reflect the ceremonial importance and battlefield capability of the Praetorians.

This figure adds elegance and strength to Roman displays, providing collectors with a representation of the soldiers who guarded Rome’s emperors.

Available from The Military Workshop, ROM102A is a superb addition for those fascinated by the elite forces that stood at the centre of imperial power.
