ROM120B - Legionnaire Crouching Behind 9th Legion Black Shield

Roman soldiers were trained to use their shields as both protection and a tactical advantage during combat. The famous Roman shield wall allowed legionaries to advance, defend against attacks, and maintain formation under intense battlefield pressure.

The 9th Legion, Legio IX Hispana, gained a lasting place in Roman history through its service in Britain and its mysterious disappearance from historical records.

ROM120B - Legionnaire Crouching Behind 9th Legion Black Shield depicts a Roman soldier taking a defensive position behind his shield, ready to withstand enemy attacks. The pose highlights the importance of teamwork, protection, and battlefield discipline.

A fantastic addition for creating realistic Roman battle scenes, this figure brings defensive tactics and military strategy into a collector’s display.

Available from The Military Workshop, ROM120B provides a detailed representation of the soldiers who formed the foundation of Rome’s military might.
