ROM124A - Advancing Legionnaire with Spear and Imperial Red Shield
The Roman legionary represented the discipline and military strength that allowed Rome to expand and maintain its vast empire. Armed with reliable equipment and trained to operate as part of a powerful formation, these soldiers became symbols of Roman authority.
The spear remained an important weapon throughout ancient warfare, giving infantrymen reach and versatility during combat. Combined with the famous Roman shield, it formed part of the equipment that made the legionary such an effective soldier.
ROM124A - Advancing Legionnaire with Spear and Imperial Red Shield portrays a Roman soldier marching forward with spear prepared and shield held firmly. The traditional red shield design highlights the recognisable appearance of imperial Roman forces.
Ideal for building legion formations or historical battle scenes, this figure adds movement and authenticity to Roman collections. Available from The Military Workshop, it is a classic representation of one of history’s greatest armies.
