ROMREP001A - Standing Legionnaire with 10th Legion Shield

The Roman legions were among the most disciplined and effective military forces of the ancient world, helping to expand and protect the Roman Empire across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The legions were renowned for their organisation, training, and battlefield tactics, with each unit carrying a proud identity and history.

The 10th Legion, known as Legio X Equestris and later associated with other 10th Legion formations, was one of Rome’s most famous military units. The legion served during some of the most significant events of Roman history and became closely linked with the campaigns of Julius Caesar.

ROMREP001A - Standing Legionnaire with 10th Legion Shield portrays a Roman soldier standing proudly in full military equipment, displaying the distinctive shield markings associated with the legion. His armour, shield, and weaponry reflect the appearance of a Roman infantryman during the height of Rome’s military power.

A commanding figure for any ancient history collection, this legionnaire provides a strong centrepiece for Roman displays, battlefield scenes, or formations. Available from The Military Workshop, this figure is a superb addition for collectors fascinated by the discipline, power, and legacy of the Roman Empire.
