SFA025B - Kneeling British Rifleman in Cap
The SFA025B - Kneeling British Rifleman in Cap represents the disciplined infantryman of the Victorian British Army, taking a steady firing position during battle.
The kneeling firing position allowed soldiers to improve accuracy while reducing their exposure to enemy fire. During campaigns such as the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, riflemen depended on training, controlled volleys and strong leadership to withstand determined attacks.
Wearing the practical field cap commonly associated with campaigning soldiers, this figure reflects the realities of active service — where troops operated far from home in challenging environments.
A beautifully posed figure that adds variety and depth to British military displays, capturing the professionalism and determination of the ordinary soldier.
Perfect for collectors building scenes from the Victorian era and colonial campaigns.
Available from The Military Workshop.
