SFA061 – Lieutenant Bromhead VC
Lieutenant Gonville Bromhead of the 24th Regiment of Foot earned the Victoria Cross for his gallant leadership during the Defence of Rorke's Drift. Despite suffering from partial deafness, Bromhead refused to leave his post and played a central role in organising the defence alongside Lieutenant John Chard. Their determined leadership enabled just over 150 British and colonial troops to withstand repeated attacks by several thousand Zulu warriors.
The Military Workshop's SFA061 – Lieutenant Bromhead VC portrays one of the most celebrated officers of the Anglo-Zulu War. Beautifully sculpted and historically accurate, this figure captures the courage and composure of an officer whose name became synonymous with the heroic stand at Rorke's Drift.
A superb addition to any Anglo-Zulu War collection, this figure commemorates a Victoria Cross recipient and one of the Victorian Army's most enduring heroes.
