USA005A - Dead Ranger with Bangalore Torpedo

The Allied landings in Normandy on 6 June 1944 placed the United States Army Rangers among the first troops to assault heavily defended beaches and coastal fortifications. Tasked with clearing obstacles and opening routes for advancing infantry, Ranger units often faced intense enemy fire while carrying specialised engineering equipment.
