V005 - Natter with 2 Figures

This detailed model depicts the German Bachem Ba 349 Natter, one of the most unusual aircraft projects developed during the final stages of the Second World War. Designed as a vertical take-off interceptor, the Natter was created as an emergency defence weapon intended to combat Allied bomber formations.

Unlike conventional aircraft, the Natter was launched vertically using a rocket-assisted system before attacking enemy aircraft with its onboard armament. Although only limited examples were completed and operational use was extremely restricted, the design remains one of the most fascinating experimental aviation projects of the war.

Featuring two accompanying figures, this set provides additional scale and context, bringing the unusual aircraft concept to life. Available through The Military Workshop, it is an intriguing addition for collectors of World War II aviation, experimental weapons, and rare historical aircraft.

Kneeling and lying down crew not included
