Machine-gun positions formed a vital part of many prepared defensive systems during the Second World War. Protected by concrete, earth and other fortifications, a well-sited machine gun could cover roads, beaches and likely avenues of enemy advance.

SP025 – Machine Gun Bunker provides collectors with a substantial defensive position around which an entire battlefield scene can be developed.

Add a gun crew, ammunition, defending infantry and obstacles to create a fortified strongpoint, or combine the bunker with other defensive structures to form a much larger position.
