SP026 – Mortar Pit

Mortars provided infantry units with valuable indirect fire support, but their crews needed protection from enemy fire and shell fragments while operating relatively close to the front.

SP026 – Mortar Pit creates a prepared position in which a mortar team can be realistically displayed.

Add crewmen, ammunition boxes, spent equipment and surrounding infantry and the position becomes a convincing part of a larger defensive line or battlefield command area.
