SP112 – Vietnam Firebase Sandbag Emplacement

The firebase became a characteristic feature of the Vietnam battlefield, providing artillery and other supporting weapons with defended positions from which they could support troops operating in surrounding areas.

SP112 – Vietnam Firebase Sandbag Emplacement recreates the protective sandbag construction associated with these positions.

It can house artillery, machine guns or personnel and combines naturally with ammunition, crew figures and other base scenery. Several defensive pieces can also be used together to suggest a much larger fortified installation.
