Nicholas II of Russia
Nicholas II was the final Tsar of Russia, ruling until he abdicated during the Russian Revolution.

Alexei Nikolaevich, Tsarevich of Russia
Alexei was the only son and heir (Tsarevich) of Nicholas II.

Their fate
After the fall of the monarchy, Nicholas II and Alexei were imprisoned and later executed in 1918 in Yekaterinburg along with the rest of the imperial family, bringing an end to the Romanov dynasty.
