TR005 – The Tsarina Alexandra
Born Princess Alix of Hesse and by Rhine, Alexandra became Empress of Russia following her marriage to the future Tsar Nicholas II in 1894.
Her devotion to her family, particularly her haemophiliac son Alexei, played an important role in her relationship with the controversial mystic Grigori Rasputin. During the turmoil of the First World War, public suspicion surrounding Alexandra contributed to the declining reputation of the monarchy.
TR005 – The Tsarina Alexandra portrays the final Empress of Imperial Russia before revolution brought the Romanov dynasty to an end.
Available from The Military Workshop – a beautifully presented King & Country figure representing one of the central personalities in the tragic final chapter of Imperial Russia.
