TRW078 – Lonesome Charlie Reynolds
Charles “Lonesome Charlie” Reynolds was a frontier scout and buffalo hunter who became closely associated with the U.S. Army during the campaigns of the 1870s.
In 1876 he served as a scout with Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry during the campaign that culminated at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Reynolds rode with Custer's command and was killed during the battle on 25 June.
