TRW163 – Morning Star

Morning Star, also known as Dull Knife, was a prominent Northern Cheyenne chief during one of the most turbulent periods of conflict between Native peoples and the expanding United States.

He is particularly remembered for the Northern Cheyenne Exodus of 1878–79, when his people attempted to return north from Indian Territory to their traditional homeland.

TRW163 – Morning Star therefore represents an important historical personality rather than simply another frontier warrior.
