USMC011 – Marine Flamethrower
Japanese troops frequently constructed elaborate networks of bunkers, caves and fortified positions across the Pacific islands. These defences could be extremely difficult to neutralise with ordinary infantry weapons.
The portable flamethrower became one of the specialised weapons employed by American forces against such positions. Its operator, however, had to approach dangerously close to the target.
USMC011 – Marine Flamethrower represents one of these specialist Marines and makes a powerful addition to an assault group tackling a fortified position.
