Viet Cong fighters frequently relied upon mobility, concealment and knowledge of local terrain, attempting to engage their opponents at favourable moments before withdrawing.

VN041 – Standing Firing V.C. captures a guerrilla fighter actively engaging the enemy from an upright firing position.

The pose is particularly useful in an ambush or village battle, where the figure can be positioned among vegetation, buildings or other irregular fighters. Mixed with kneeling and advancing Viet Cong figures, he helps create a varied and energetic opposing force.
