WH030 – Beach Obstacles

In preparation for the expected Allied invasion of Western Europe, German forces constructed an enormous variety of obstacles along the beaches of the Atlantic Wall. Their purpose was to disrupt landing craft, vehicles and troops before they could move inland.

WH030 – Beach Obstacles provides collectors with the defensive clutter essential for recreating the appearance of a fortified Normandy shoreline.

Combined with bunkers, German defenders and landing troops, these obstacles can dramatically change the appearance of a D-Day scene, turning an open beach into a prepared defensive zone.
