WH049 – Sd.Kfz. 250/11 Panzerbüchse 41

The Sd.Kfz. 250 was a compact German half-track used for reconnaissance, command and numerous specialist battlefield roles. One particularly interesting version carried the 2.8 cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41, a high-velocity anti-armour weapon.

WH049 – Sd.Kfz. 250/11 Panzerbüchse 41 combines the mobility of the light half-track with additional anti-armour capability, producing a distinctive reconnaissance vehicle.

Its relatively small size makes it ideal alongside armoured cars, scouts and other forward elements of a German formation rather than among the heavier tanks.
