WH056 – Pz.Kpfw. 35R(f) SPG

Following the defeat of France in 1940, German forces acquired enormous quantities of captured French equipment. Some vehicles were used largely unchanged, while others were converted to meet German battlefield requirements.

WH056 – Pz.Kpfw. 35R(f) SPG represents one of these conversions based upon the captured Renault R35 tank chassis, transformed from its original role into a self-propelled gun.

Its French origins and German modification make this a particularly interesting subject for collectors who enjoy the less familiar vehicles of WWII rather than only the famous Tigers and Panthers.
