WH098 – Panzer Lehr Command Vehicle

Formed in late 1943, Panzer Lehr Division was an unusually well-equipped German armoured formation assembled from demonstration and training units. It was transferred to Normandy following the Allied landings in June 1944 and suffered heavily during the subsequent fighting.

WH098 – Panzer Lehr Command Vehicle represents the mobile command element needed to coordinate an armoured formation in the field.

Surrounded by officers, radio personnel, maps and other staff figures, the vehicle can become the focal point of an impressive Normandy 1944 headquarters scene, with orders being issued as the battle develops around it.
