By the closing stages of WWII, German soldiers were surrendering in increasing numbers as Allied forces advanced into territory still held by the collapsing Third Reich.

WH102 – For You Fritz, The War is Over captures one of these very personal moments between victor and defeated soldier. Its title immediately tells the story: for the German prisoner, the fighting has finally ended.

Rather than concentrating on weapons and combat, the set portrays the aftermath of battle and offers an interesting way to create a surrender, prisoner collection or end-of-war scene.
