WS281 – HE Renault U.E. Armoured Carrier

The small French Renault UE Chenillette was originally designed as an armoured supply and ammunition carrier. Following the fall of France in 1940, large numbers fell into German hands and were subsequently adapted for a variety of roles.

WS281 – HE Renault U.E. Armoured Carrier represents one of these compact vehicles in German service, illustrating the extensive use the Wehrmacht made of captured equipment.

Its small size and unusual appearance make it an interesting companion to larger German vehicles and ideal for supply, support or rear-area scenes.
