U.S. 101st Airborne, 506th PIR, E Company Sgt. John W. "Johnny" Martin, June 1944

John "Johnny" Martin was one of the original "Toccoa Men" of Easy Company. Born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1922, he volunteered for the paratroopers and trained at Camp Toccoa before deploying to England. He made his combat jump into Normandy on D-Day and later fought in Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. He survived the war and died in 2005.

If 25337 is a photo archive or catalog number (for example, from a military archive or historical image collection), it likely identifies a specific portrait of Sgt. Martin taken shortly before the Normandy invasion.

If you're looking for the actual photograph associated with 25337, I can also help locate the image or identify which archive or collection uses that catalog number.
