AE115 - Rick Blaine & Capt. Louis Renault | King & Country

Inspired by the classic 1942 film Casablanca, this two-figure set brings together two of the movie's most memorable characters, Rick Blaine and Captain Louis Renault.

Rick Blaine, portrayed by Humphrey Bogart, is the American expatriate who operates Rick's Café Américain in wartime Casablanca. Although he prefers to remain detached from the political turmoil surrounding him, his past experiences and the unexpected arrival of a former love eventually force him to make a difficult decision.

Standing alongside him is Captain Louis Renault, the Vichy French police official portrayed by Claude Rains. Charming, opportunistic and politically flexible, Renault has an uneasy friendship with Rick and provides a memorable contrast to his character.

Together, the two figures celebrate one of cinema's most recognisable partnerships and offer collectors an unusual addition to their World War II-era displays.

The figures can be combined with Sam the Piano Player (AE116) and Rick's Café Américain backdrop (SP136) to recreate a scene inspired by the film.

Set includes: Rick Blaine and Captain Louis Renault.
