Persian commanders could employ archers in large numbers, using concentrated missile fire to harass, disrupt and weaken opposing troops before committing other elements of the army to close combat.
AP-10AN – 4 Persian Archers provides another substantial group of four bowmen for the Achaemenid ranks. Combined with AP-09AN and the individual AP-07 figures, collectors can create an impressive line of archers rather than simply a handful of isolated missile troops.
The set is particularly effective when positioned in support of Persian spearmen and Sparabara, adding both depth and tactical variety to the formation.
