GG03-05 – 3rd East Kent Regiment – The Buffs
The 3rd Regiment of Foot, better known as The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), was one of the British Army's oldest infantry regiments. During the Anglo-Zulu War, the 2nd Battalion formed part of the forces operating in Zululand during the difficult campaign of 1879.
GG03-05 represents infantry of the 3rd East Kent Regiment and provides another useful addition for collectors building the Buffs beyond their command figures.
Their presence allows a substantial Victorian infantry formation to be developed, whether positioned in an open firing line, protecting a camp or incorporated into the defensive perimeter of a wagon laager.
Available from The Military Workshop – a finely realised John Jenkins Designs addition to the ranks of the historic Buffs during the Anglo-Zulu War.
