NM-21B – Norman Spearman | John Jenkins Designs
The Norman Spearman NM-21B adds another foot soldier to William's army and provides collectors with further variation when assembling a substantial infantry contingent.
Infantry formed an important part of the combined force that crossed the Channel in 1066. Their role at Hastings placed them directly against an English army that had deliberately chosen a strong defensive position on higher ground.
By combining different spearman poses, collectors can create a formation that appears to be climbing the slope, closing with the enemy or reorganising between attacks.
NM-21B works especially well beside NM-21A, with the other Norman infantry distributed around them and mounted knights providing depth behind the line.
Available through The Military Workshop – another versatile John Jenkins Designs Norman spearman for building the infantry ranks of 1066.
