RA094 - Red Army Rifleman Crouching | King & Country

This Soviet rifleman represents a Red Army infantry soldier during the winter campaigns of 1944–45, as Soviet forces advanced across Eastern Europe towards Germany.

The figure is depicted kneeling in a crouched position, preparing to rise and move forward upon receiving orders from his squad leader.

He carries a Mosin-Nagant rifle in his right hand, representing one of the standard infantry weapons used by Soviet soldiers throughout the Second World War.

The crouching pose offers collectors an alternative to standing and advancing infantry figures, allowing a more varied arrangement of soldiers within a battlefield display.

Part of the Heritage Classics collection, this figure complements the other Red Army releases, including the squad leader, advancing riflemen and soldiers armed with PPSh-41 submachine guns.

It can also be positioned alongside the SU-122 Self-Propelled Howitzer (RA092) to represent infantry operating in support of Soviet armoured forces.
